Some time last year while walking around Subiaco close to lunch time I decided to check out the latest food chain to arrive in Perth. Mad Mex is a Mexican “fast food” chain that arrived from the East coast. While I’m personally not generally a big fan of Mexican food I thought I’d give it a go and see what all the hype is.
It’s the Easter long weekend and I have found some time to go through some of my photos from 2012 which I haven’t got around to editing, I’ve come across a few food stories I wish to share. Sometime mid-July last year, a bunch of old high school girls caught up for a little birthday dinner at a nice little restaurant called Piccos Kitchen in Maylands.
The Tuck Shop is my latest favorite little cafes in Perth. It’s situated on Newcastle street, not a long walk if coming from Northbridge. It’s supposively a pie-house but on both occasions when I went for Brunch I ordered a non-pie dish and loved it. It gets pretty crowed around 10am onwards so to ensure little or no wait time for a table, try to get there just before 10am.
